Hey y’all! We had a great graduate session today – here are some of the thoughts that stuck with me from that conversation that I wanted to share with you:
Have you ever felt like you can’t afford high quality, organic food but then toss candy, chips, and ice cream into your basket at the store?
Sometimes when we buy healthy food and high quality supplements, we spend more at one time, and it can seem like a lot of money — but we’re skipping all those smaller, less noticeable drains on our wallet. Think lattes, candy bars, chips, trips to the vending machine etc.
Even more important than the actual MONEY is the deeper meaning of that expenditure. The way we spend money on ourselves can reflect our self esteem and how we feel about ourselves in that moment. What are YOU saying about the way you value yourself by the way you spend money?
Spending money is the transmission of energy. If you spend money on cigarettes, candy, booze, and/or junk food — you’re putting your energy into that feedback loop, which only brings you down further. On the other hand, when we intentionally spend money on things that make us healthier, we’re putting our energy into that positive feedback loop – which results in wonderful rewards.
