Hi Cambiati Family!
I wanted to introduce myself to those of you who might not know me. I’m the registered dietitian nutritionist here at Cambiati Wellness Programs. Even if you don’t know me, you can probably assume a few things about me right off: one of my big loves in life is food—cooking, experimenting, eating, and talking about it. Speaking of talking, I also like to chat—it’s a big part of my job as I work one on one with clients discussing all aspects of their health, which I ADORE.
But what you might not know off the bat is that I pretty much bring my entire kitchen into work in the form of many, many bags (carting supplements, leftovers, and even inspirational books) and that I can be a little bit ditzy! Exhibit A: I just leased a brand new car and not even a month into it I had my lunch in the front seat in a container that didn’t have a snap-on cover like Tupperware, and my dog Finley (my other favorite thing in life) climbed into my lap on the drive, and then onto the passenger seat where she promptly stepped into my lunch, spreading marina sauce and rice noodles all over the light gray FABRIC seats. All happening on the highway where I just had to accept what was happening and deal with it when I parked. Sigh.
Lessons learned: Use Tupperware. Get a seat cover (especially if you have a dog 🙂).
How does this relate to you? Well, it’s a reminder that we have control about certain things and not others. While we may not be able to prevent a fender bender or a thunderstorm, we can drive with focus and awareness, and bring an umbrella with us when rain is predicted.
My non-negotiables are getting at least 8 hours of sleep and eating vegetables every day. What are yours? We want to know!
