1. Eat well
Disordered eating habits is one of the main reasons why people complain they have no energy throughout the day. Here are a few tips you can start bringing into your daily routine:
- Never skip breakfast (Even if you’re not hungry) Do you remember the slogan, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”? Well it’s true! Studies have shown that breakfast contributes to feeling better both mentally and physically. It also helps lower your stress hormone. Suck up that shake and be on your way to refuel your tank!
- Eat proper meals. Make sure that the meals you plan will keep you full for at least 4 to 6 hours. If you feel the need to snack between meals then that means you did not have enough from your previous meal. Add a little more protein and you’ll see that you will be fuller for longer. If a mini meal is needed, be careful it doesn’t turn into mindless snacking. Dipping some vegetables like carrots or celery into a good fat such as a yummy hummus will do just the trick!
- Nourish your body. With every meal you eat throughout the day, you should have a mix of protein, healthy fats, and a small amount of carbs. 2. Reduce stress in your life
Stress is a trigger for people who experience fatigue, have trouble sleeping, and have a hard time resting. Sound familiar? Remembering that you are on your way to success as well as using positive rhetoric helps in dealing with stress. 3. Be active
We know that not all people are fond of working out, but that’s because they haven’t found an exercise that is right for them. Running and weights are not the only ways to be active! You can still incorporate an active lifestyle in your daily activities and make it time-efficient as well.
