Winter can’t keep us away from BBQ’d deliciousness! These grilled turkey burgers are packed with both protein and greens, making it a real winner. It also has lots of minced garlic to get a dose of prebiotics & adds flavor to the turkey which can sometimes be dry. If you don’t have access to a BBQ, a grill pan will work as well. These burgers a great meal prep option since it makes several servings depending on the size of the patty you make. Pair the burger with roasted brusselĀ  sprouts and broccoli with quinoa or any other greens and high fiber carb like sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc. Top with hot sauce or your favorite probiotic rich sauerkraut!

  • 1 package ground turkey
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 package of baby spinach
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • dash of salt and pepper

Chop garlic and add to a pan with olive oil on medium heat. Saute garlic until fragrant and add spinach. Cook spinach until it wilts down. Add salt & pepper. Transfer to a chopping board and chop the spinach. In a large mixing bowl combine the spinach with garlic and the turkey. Mix together and form patties. Grill until cooked through. It should make 4-5 medium size patties, but feel free to double the recipe to make more for the week.
