Many of you are wondering what happened to Nutragen? Is Nutragen still in business? Where can I find Nutragen products like the Nutragen Pure Greens, the Nutragen Pure Plant Protein, or the Nutragen Digestion Plus?!
We all hate it when our favorite lipstick, or protein powder is discontinued! Don’t you hate it when you’ve discovered the perfect ingredients that suit your needs, the flavor is delightful, and now it seems Nutragen has disappeared from the shelves. We feel your pain. We were one of the first places to ever carry Nutragen. We loved the quality of their products and the great flavor. Nutragen’s Pure Plant Protein was a client favorite and we were so sad to see it go. It’s so hard to find a great vegan protein powder that isn’t gritty and tastes delicious. We loved that the Digestion Plus worked to help us stay full and poop just perfectly, and that you could adjust the amount for the individual.
Unfortunately, Nutragen is no longer available. While sold to another company it does not appear that they will produce it. It appears to have been a catch and kill strategy. Because of this we created our own protein called Whatever It Shakes, have an alternative PaleoFiber (in place of Digestion Plus), have EssentiaGreens (in place of Nutragen Pure Greens), Inflammatone in place of the Pure Inflammedix, and have Whatever It Sakes in Vanilla and Choco-maizing (chocolate).

So, what happened to Nutragen and where can you find products? The good news is that as of 1/15/24 we still have Nutragen Vanilla Pure Plant Protein. You can order online and we will ship it out to you. We still have these products because we purchased lots and lots of products prior to Nutragen selling their company. We will also send you samples of our new Whatever It Shakes ProteinTM. You are going to love it. It beat Nutragen in multiple blind taste tests and has ingredients for energy, digestion, stress, inflammation support, and more.
Now, you might be wondering what happened to Nutragen if they were purchased. Well, that company has a reputation for purchasing products and changing formulations or purchasing products and not having them come back out. Right now Nutraen is not back out and we don’t exactly know what they are going to do with it but we can take a few guesses. All we know right now is that they were sold to an MLM (multilevel marketing company) that has actually been sued for being a pyramid scheme. We would never do business with them and would never purchase their products because we would not be able to stand by the quality.

There are two good options for a Nutragen Pure Greens powder. The first is EssentiaGreens. This flavor is the most popular but PaleoGreens are also a good option. EssentiaGreens are a bit sweeter and easier to drink on their own. The PaleoGreens Lemon Lime is also popular and have more greens in them. They have more of that greens flavor and we like them mixed with C+ BioFizz. C+BioFizz is a great free radical scavengar and makes everything taste delicious!
PaleoFiber is an excellent replacement for Digestion Plus. Most fiber products don’t do both soluble and insoluble fiber whereas PaleoFiber will do just that. You can find PaleoFiber here.
